New Online Backup Service Launch a Success
The 22nd of August 2012 marked the launch of Netwise Hosting’s brand new online backup services, designed to cater for working business environments that require multiple workstations and servers to be secured against local threats to data integrity.
The new system, which completed primary testing in early July, is now fully operational and on sale through the Netwise Hosting website. Office packages enjoy easy-to-manage desktop environment backups for an unlimited number of Windows, Mac and Linux machines, while the premium Enterprise packages also add server backups into the mix, including live MSSQL and MySQL database and MS Exchange server services.
Matthew Butt, Managing Director at Netwise Hosting, explained why this new system has been put into action; “We initially identified a strong need to build a new backup solution for our own dedicated server and colocation clients - the one we had in place wasn’t working hard enough for us, particularly for those with multiple services. We opted to develop our own system that would not only appeal to our own clients, but also those with primary services elsewhere, or for those with office environments that simply wish to back up their information off-site.”

Colocation Calculator Now Online
After months of planning and development, the Netwise Hosting Colocation Calculator is now online, and is already proving highly popular amongst users of our site.
This innovative new tool allows users to obtain live, real-time quotes for Netwise colocation deployments, and have an official copy sent to their email address for review. We are the first UK data centre operator to innovate this new technology, and hope that this section of our website will become a valuable resource for anyone interested in quickly pricing colocation contracts without lengthy conversations with hosting companies.

Did You Meet us at The Business Show 2012?
After months of planning and execution, The Business Show 2012 is over, and what a busy two days of exhibiting it was! Its fair to say that the Netwise Hosting team performed fantastically, and very much earned the rest enjoyed over the weekend - we were exceedingly worn out after the show! We met some great people over the course of the show, and look forward to working with many of them in the near future.
